What do you think that is the most relevant in a real fight: the real life experience in some fights or a formal training in some martial art?

An example would be the next two cases: one guy that has been involved in a lot of fights and he has not received any martial arts training, or one guy that has been training a martial art during his all life.

What aspect do you think will be better for a real fight?

Hi, everybody!

I think that the most important is learn martial arts with good masters and the training in order to get a good and clean techique in martial arts. If you are always fighting in the street but you haven't learnt in a school maybe you could defend yourself or use unusual techniques but I thing that you wouldn't win a person with depurated technique who is not used to fight in the street.

Hi k ito!

I totally agree with you! For me also the most importat is learn martial arts with adequate teachers that transmit correctly the techniques. Maybe I have a traditional mentality, but I like to think that with hard and constant training is possible to achieve better fighting skills than only with a violent attitude and street fighting experience.
